Why not just buy a motorcycle?

I was reading some comments on YouTube about electric assist bikes and trikes and somebody said "Why not just get a motorcycle?

A valid question right?

I just had to respond. I told them perhaps the person you are talking about may have a "perfect" body but for the most part our American populatoion is either too overweight and hopeless because even if they got inspired enough to exercise on a bike or trike, the choices are limited by the manfacturers of bikes and trikes that have weight limits of 250 lbs or less. And the same goes for MOST bike shops. I have stepped into a bike shop with regular street clothes on and a bit on the heavy side and almost get the feeling that the staff is rolling their eyes and saying to each other "Yea, right"

However if some perfectly proportioned human comes in with their spandex painted on clothes and a helmet with all the cool design on it as they "click" across the showroom floor in their "egg beaters" they are treated like royalty.

Well, that is probably the best reason that PhatAzz Custom Trikes was birthed. We are in the business of providing the "Other crowd" with bikes and trikes that are custom designed for those who are not only too heavy for most manfactured bikes and trikes, but maybe a disability that precludes them from enjoying a fun way to exercise. Our trikes are designed around a rider, not mass production "take it or leave it" attitude.
