"PhatAzz CustomTrikes came into being because two back surgeries left me weak and easy to damage..."

 

     Greetings!!, I'm Howard and I am the owner and cheif designer @ PhatAzz Trikes,A brand new business that disabled folks and "Large Humans" should get excited about!

 

   In my previous occupations as a small engine tech, I was injured enough times to require spinal surgery and when done with physical therapy  (twice) I was still very weak and had a noticeble tremor in my left hand and it is still easy to re-injure myself.

 

   I tried walking to build up muscle tissue but the more I walked the more pain I was experiencing, so I stopped walkng and tried to ride my "OLD" brand new 2 wheeler Costco bike (which I never liked & rode 2-3 times)  and quickly found out how sore that seat can make your pelvis and then there's the pressure on the wrists that can cause pain.

 

   Oh, and there is that balance thing in traffic that makes this 61 year old nervous!

 

  The other discouraging fact is, most exercise equipment is designed around already fit people with a minimum of disabilities, not like myself @ 300+ lbs and 6'5" tall !!

 

   So while online I saw one of those little ads off to the side about recumbent trikes. I'd never heard of them and had to click!!, So, enter the world of handmade recumbent trikes

 

        TRIKES...

    Fast, easy on the bod, and a much needed item for those who are  "exercise intolerant" So, I got to thinking that if I were in this bad of shape, there must be others seeking alternatives and...enter

"PhatAzz CustomTrikes" that can create a unique pedalled/electric assist trike for the disabled and especially LARGE PEOPLE who are over the weight limit on most everything manufactured to assist them in their exercises!!

 

                        Our trikes are designed to hold riders of more than 300 lbs!

   Our designs are primarily recycled old and broken bicycles that are dissected and repurposed into useable transportation that serves a dual purpose, get you to your destination and is exercising that bod badly in need of exercise.
